Oops, looks like I fangirled onto my sketchbook page again!
I finally got me some micro-pens (yayyyy!!!!) This illustration was my first try with them in one hour. It’s a pond/lake in my community’s park. There are little nets of tiny algae leaves in the water, scattered over the lake like tiny flower petals.
The remarkable thing is not that I tried to draw a lake. The remarkable thing is the peace one can have when sitting with nature for a whole hour, simply observing it and being a part of it.
Sofia is my newest character. I’m still building her up into a full character, but eventually I hope to draw out my cast with their backgrounds :)The random guy character… well, I haven’t yet decided what to do with him. I don’t even know if I’ll keep him as a character. We’ll see… I may tweak him a bit. Idk.
